The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Well...
I'll make it short and sweet. My bandwidth for this month is about out. It doesn't reset til the 2nd. I'm out because of all the videos I've uploaded to my YouTube ([link] and because I downloaded some music.
I got shiny Cottonee the evening before the 3DS Sunday Launch, and all three Pokemon are trained and ready to go. Since that's out of the way, I can focus on other things, like the 3DS (which I have along with SFIV) and... drawing!

I'll be drawing again most this week I presume. I have a lot to catch up to.

The next shiny I hope to hatch is Ferroseed, but I need to think about what I need/want too. I need 3 others to have 6 Unova shinies for a team, at least for now. My gimmick is that I only use shinies and that's the way it has been and likely will be. That was just one of the things that made me different back in the day.
I won't be hatching too hard though so I should have some free time. I'm also going to try and get back in shape a bit.

Things just seem to be going wrong for the people I know. Just hold on as strong as you can. You are in my prayers.

Oh! One last thing!
Seems like I've collected up a good handful of watchers while I've been away!

shitty internet =/= bandwidth cap.

It's the best I can get in my area. It just has a 5 GB cap, which was maxed out this month because I downloaded the B/W OST and uploaded like 12 videos to my YouTube channel. But it's reset now and I can use it again.
