Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Almost there. I still have like 6 characters to go which means about a week, but I'm almost there to finishing this game!!! Then it's back to the drawing board?????? XD

I have a painting idea. I have to paint something for my grandma before she's gone, which it's not looking good. I don't think I like what I was attempting to paint her earlier this year, so I may try something simple, anything that I know how to do already, to give to her. It doesn't matter what as long as she likes it and I know she'll like anything I give her so I'll probably do that soon.

Oh yeah, I got some new PS3 games but I haven't tried them (and probably won't) until I finish this Bleach game!

And at the end of the month I'm going to download LittleBigPlanet, my friend is giving it to me, so maybe it's a good thing I haven't been online so I can download most of that, let the bandwidth reset, and then download the rest which won't be much!

I did have WWE Smackdown vs. RAW '11 instead of MW2, however, that game had a single use code in order to play online and I boguht the game used, so... I had no idea about that what I bought it. And it costs $10 for a new online code, so I would have been paying $44. So I took it back and swapped it out for CoD, likely to my friend's chagrin (although there's not a whole lot of games that are $34 that they had there). Oh well, at least my bro can give me some tips.


I have a lot of plans this week and this weekend, I hope they all go well and I don't have any problems with anything. I might draw something for a personal birthday pic but if I do it will be a small sketch.

*tackles* We had everyone around us feel it, but we just thought it was some trucks downshifting. We were at my parents shop, and the building is just very very sturdy, but it amplifies sounds waves and makes it shake a bit when trucks go by. Glad you are safe!!!

lol yeah it's 2 AM August 26th where I live so... :D

Yeah, everyone's safe, right now we're dealing with a hurricane but it's too far over for us to be affected by it. There'es a lot of people in trouble though, there's gonna be a lot of flooding in places like New York City and Boston, which is going to be very very bad!
