Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I Need Your Help Nintendo Players!!!

It's that time of the year again, Club Nintendo's gift thing. I'm 160 Coins short of Platinum status, and I need your help. I know some of you don't bother with Club Nintendo or don't even know what it is, so I'm hoping you can help me.
When you buy a Nintendo 1st party game, you get something in with the game manual and health & safety booklets, usually advertising for Nintendo Power. On that particular slip is a registration code. I need that code! But not just any will do, since I may have already entered the game's code that you have.

So instead I'm gonna give a list of the games of the codes I need. It should be a little easier, since I haven't bought many games this year, but with the 3DS, it's pushed me close to the Platinum status for this year and I don't want to miss it. I've been Platinum status since Club Nintendo was instated here in the US.

I'll have a little leverage when Zelda OoT 3DS comes out, but it won't be enough!

So anyways, here's the list:

Metroid Prime Trilogy -- Wii (I still need this one and it would benefit me the most)

Pokemon Ranger 1 and that newest Pokemon Ranger game. I already have Almia entered. -- DS

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue (I got mine used so it didn't have it) -- DS

ANY of the 3DS Nintendogs games -- 3DS

~~Kirby's Epic Yarn (like MPT the code here would benefit me the most. Kirby's still 1st party, right?) -- Wii~~

Mario VS. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis -- DS

~~Metroid: Other M -- Wii~~

Steel Diver -- 3DS

Pilotwings Resort -- 3DS

Wii Sports Resort -- Wii

Wii Music -- Wii

Wii Party -- Wii (I think that's out now.. I dunno. XD)

This is all I can really think of at the moment...

If you have any of these codes and haven't used them yourself, PLEASE give them to me!!! I'll give you a free mini request if you do!

yeah a lot of the stuff costs a LOT of coins.. I think the only things I've ordered so far have been the first Game & Watch DS game (which I thought was going to be a limited time thing, but they still have it today..) and the Game & Watch Ball replica.

I think I'm gonna order something a bit more useful next.. lol. Probably one of those pouches when they get them back in.

Yeah I have bought the card game, a Pikmin plush, a teenie tiny Wario figure (it was much smaller than I thought and cost loads, so I wasn't happy!)

I usually get 50 coins, 60 coins total for doing a Wii game surveys.. so if you compare 1 coin = 1 dollar or euro...
$800 for a DS game that's a remake of (very few) old Game & Watch games?? XD That's ridiculous!
So I think my days of going for those special top coin prizes are over. I want some of the smaller stuff that I could actually use.
If I get that much, that is. (Like you mentioned.. teenie tiny

Haha yeah, and I later realised the Wario kart figure I got can actually be got in those ball egg things you get in machines ?(quite big in Japan, cannot remember the name though lol), so I got ripped off! Could have got one for £1 rather than the tons of coins I spent on it.

Wow, you're the first person I know who throws away the boxes.. lol.
I traded in the Ranger game I had (I used the code beforehand). They just don't really grasp me at all.

My friend just gave me codes for Other M and Epic Yarn, so I've got those now. If you don't mind though, could you check for Sports Resort & Music? I'd really appreciate it!

Ranger was fun at first. Just not after beating it 9 times.

Okay, Sure, I'll check tomorrow because I gotta get to bed. I gotta go and get a CT scan to see if I have another sinus infection (caused my migraine headaches last year, since they've been coming up more often and hurting more like last year when I had to get surgery.
