I've let the messages (deviations) pile up on me. Sorry if it seems like I'm ignoring you; I'm not. I'm just way behind, plus I need to work on my own artwork.
In other news I finished catching up on One Piece, so now I'm checking out Elfen Lied and Rosario+Vampire. I tried reading what is called "Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan" here in the states, I think it's called Nurarihyon or something in Japanese... It just didn't interest me. The character designs were pretty cool but by now it feels like the same story (especially similar to Naruto for some reason) as any other manga I've read up to this point. I'm ready for something else besides the "hey I'm an angry adolescent, I wanna be special, now I'm powered up and special, I overcome things, now I'm awesome" storyline... lmao. Bleach is very confusing right now, Naruto is at it's climax, and some of the new world One Piece characters just seem OOC to me which is kind of a turnoff, sadly that's the way I feel with Bleach right now. It's just messed up. From the very beginning to the point Aizen was defeated, I loved it. It was and still is my favorite. But to me, right now, it's in a nose dive. Without spoiling anything, I just wonder how could Kubo do something like this. I like part of the plot, but the rest is just bullshit. He better start explaining things soon, and fast. That's one thing I love about One Piece, is that Oda actually explains things. It may take 20 chapters but you're left with a very good understanding as to what's going on after a bit of a mystery, while still keeping some key details hidden.
With Bleach, there's still a LOT of important characters with very little backstory but it feels like the series has been around for so long already.... In these 10 more years of Bleach I'm sure we'll get to know them all pretty well, but I just don't like where it's heading. It's like a snowglobe. Just what went on during the timeskip? Are the fullbrings just another write-off visards? Everything is moving way too fast with little explanation and it's already BANKAI and I'm like whoa whoa whoa just slow the F down for a minute jegus......
With One Piece, I thought they'd be further ahead than this already. When I began reading, hell, I thought Luffy would have the One Piece by now or at least know more about what it might be! XD I thought the timeskip had already been in effect for quite some time. Speaking of that, I didn't know someone could change so much in 2 years... when I began reading the series I had this inkling some of them would turn out to be jerks. I really liked the premise of Zoro, but he was the worst I had that feeling of and I was kind of right, I have a really bad love/hate relationship with this character. He's really awesome, but he's also the embodiment of Bleach right now: Fight and ask questions later. When the series started, I guess it was because none of the other characters showed up yet, but he seemed a bit more free than what he grew into. The series was also kind of believable until he decided to throw a damn building...... ._. All resolve went flying out the window then. (Little did I know it'd just get more ridiculous but that's over with now)
He's pretty hard headed that's for sure but he isn't the worst by any means, his resolve is actually quite reassuring when the other characters need him the most.
I didn't like Nami at all at first. After the Arlong Park arc, naturally my views changed and she did too because after that she had nothing to hide or run away from and she actually turned into an enjoyable character. And bust size, are you kidding me? She like, balloons every arc, it's ridiculous, and I'm not the only one who noticed either lol jeegus. And no, I don't like it. She looks ridiculous now. After the timeskip she seems pretty stuck up, or at least to me. I appreciate the characters are now able to defend themselves, but something just takes out of a story when they don't seem to show any fear.
Sanji, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. I thought he was a jackass at first, but to me he's easily one of the best characters in the series now. Tough, cool, funny, and willing to discuss and/or listen -- as long as you don't mess with his women.
Usopp is one of the best characters in any series IMO. He, Chopper and Franky (despite his appearance) haven't changed that much at all, which I'm glad. Franky is just something else lol, I love Franky. I like his old hairstyle more, so I was overjoyed when I learned he could change back. Oh, and I can't forget about Robin. She's really refreshing having a mature-er character around.
I really like this series and glad I took the time to catch up and look forward to the new releases.
But enough about One Piece for now.
With Naruto, not much has changed since I mentioned it last, except that was a perfect plot twist which is probably why Naruto is #1 right now. There isn't as much to talk about until it progresses a little more. It's rounding out excellently, and I still say it's coming to an end, or at least "Part 2".
It's really, really kicking ass right now. It took me about 150 chapters to like this series but I'm glad it worked out, it's pretty epic now.
The reason why I picked the two new to check out that I did is because they have been suggested to me before, I'm interested and they're complete (well sort of). I know I've been suggested other, like Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Toriko, but I just need something a little different right now.
I also need to finish Kanokon...
If you sat through all that you deserve a cookie. Take care now!

I pray so hard that I will always be passionate about my stories and never become a sell out. Even the ones who love their stories so much, like their children, you can still expect to much from your children.
I never really could get very far in One Piece. I love pirates, don't get me wrong, I just didn't seem to like the sort of story it was.
One Piece is definitely a strange adventure, even though the subject is "pirates", it couldn't get farther from that in most aspects.
One thing I didn't like is at first we're led to believe that those "fruit abilities" were very rare and even one of a kind, and now it's like every character has them.
I still like it but it's nothing like I thought it'd be.
Oh, interesting
