It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Just a journal to get that teal deer off my page, did not realize it was that long, lol.
Gonna try to finish up most of what I can on that pic tonight.

Also, I'm starting to feel like I'm getting sick. I just can't, not right now. It always happens when I start to have stuff to do. I hate drawing when I'm sick. I can't focus. I have to clean my reptile terrariums this weekend. Stanley (my leopard gecko) is getting ready to shed and I want to keep an eye on him.
I have a lot of things I have to do for my family too... I can't afford to get sick.

Anyways, all I could do is get the pic cleaned up a little and lined with 8B, and made lines thicker where needed. I still have a LOT left ahead of me, but given the timing, it's this year's "BlackWarGreymon" if you remember that from my gallery. It's not perfect but I think it's impressive and I already have some "good" "feedback" on it... lol.

I've uploaded my 2nd and last WIP pic of it to Facebook, since mine isn't public and only people I know are there to see it, and the recipient of the drawing isn't a friend on there cuz I don't know his, lol.
Which also means you can't see it unless you're a friend. I could give you the direct link to it, but I want to keep it a secret from that one person. So yeah. lol
