I have some stuff to upload, but not yet because not all of it is done yet. I don't really like any of it, but that's just the way it is.

As you can see from my current poll, I'm thinking hard about what I should do with my art. For the years I have drawn, I've drawn a very wide variety of things at an artistically young age, whether it looks good or bad. But the problem lies in the fact that I just haven't really improved to my liking.

While drawing many different things has definitely been a benefit to me, right now it's just holding me back. Jumping around so much is just slowing me down and keeping me inconsistent. And when I get back around to a certain character or series, it looks like crap again since I haven't drawn it in a while. Likely because, even after nearly 3 years, I am still not that great because I still haven't grasped anything.

I've noticed that most of the artists I like and are pretty good (or really, really good) just kept a single subject, or just two or three, or at least a certain style. I liked keeping such a variety, but not if it just kills me over and over. I am the type of person who seeks success, or at least consistency - and needs it to be content.

I still don't have a style, and I don't have an ounce of creativity in my soul (I don't think I was meant to create), but positively thinking, this is not a problem, as I can have my cake and eat it too, in the form of portraits, etc.
I also think the art scene is changing slightly on what is accepted and what isn't. It's not getting tighter, but getting looser, think more of it like playdough. It's expanding.

I've cut my messages down to nearly 1,000. No more journals left, it's just lots of art and faves.. This has taken up a tremendous amount of time, but I want to finish them off as soon as I can. I haven't cleaned my watch list yet either, but I will soon. It's like my YouTube subscribe list. It's just out of hand.

If I were to focus on a subject(s), it would be Bleach/anime, Pokemon, and realism, I think. No one seems (or seemed) to care much about my Mega Man stuff, or Ace Attorney. I don't care that much about the Mario universe to settle into that and enjoy it. And I forget whatever else I draw, because I'm too sleepy.

Regardless though I'm not leaving this account or switching. Between July and now, it seems like 10 people I watched swapped accounts.
You won't see that from me. In the future, I might make a 3rd account if I get really good at art and want something separate, but I doubt it. (My other account is a dead photo account; I pretty much stopped taking photos, sorry)

So here's to taking many steps forward and fewer steps back, but I'll probably have to start a few steps back anyways. Kind of like starting over without starting over, lol.

I wanna say thanks to my new watchers and the ones who have stuck with me since the beginning. I'll keep trying to do my very best.

You do have creativity. Whether or not you see it we here all know you do! :eager:

And a little variety never hurt anyone, there's nothing wrong with it and personally I love seeing different things from you.

Take all the time you need, quiet a few of us here including myself will be here when you come around. :)

P.S. I'd love to see some original works from you! :heart:

lol thanks.. :P

I kind of consider my paintings to be original, but.. if it's just a painting of an existing photograph, to me that takes the originality out.

I can't think of anything unique, or something that no one else has ever done, unless it's a silly idea like that mudkip thing, but that's about it.

I actually kinda like your sense of variety owo;

It shows that you have a great range of style, and it's actually been proven that those who draw in different styles, typically tend to be better artists owo;

AND I'M ALWAYS HERE, BROSKY.

Really? Thank you. :)

I'm just tired of my stuff not looking so great. I know I get a lot of experience from doing all sorts of things, but I guess you could say it's just base experience. It's kind of hard to explain, but I feel like a "jack of all trades, master of none", I want to get better at something, at least. ._.

No problem!

Why don't you play around with a few more styles and then find the one you think suits you best? <:3

*tackles* Variety is the spice of life, but apparently consistency makes the flavor even better when you draw something off of your usual things. It won't hurt to go off the beaten path sometimes!

Your best is all one can ask for :)
