Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. I need to finish the drawings I've started but the past two days I haven't slept well and I've had to do a lot during the day and then when I finally get home it seems like it's time to get a shower and then check messages and then it's time for bed because I'm too tired to do anything. But don't worry I'll get around to finishing everything soon. It just kills me because each day gone by is another day I've had to make people wait. I have also been very depressed the past few days and that also makes me feel like not drawing either.

Anyways I may try out making "flies" for fly fishing. It's an art in itself but it can be a little expensive to start out with so I might not get to try it until later and my dad has always been against fly fishing and I don't know anyone who does but I have always been interested in the lures. It would be something new for me and that's what I've been looking for.

do this and thought I'd give it a try. Although in a way it doesn't make much sense to me since most of the time anime is manga and in some cases manga is anime.

Sounds to me like you need to take a REAL breather instead of worrying about things like that. Spend some time to yourself! Get some basic Fly fishing lure materials and try your hand at it. Who knows? You could bet rather good at making them!

Also, most of your list = much love! I have no clue what Kanokon is though. ^.^;

But yeah, relax a bit! Don't stress yourself out any more than needed. okay?

Well.... I value good work on a timely basis. This one last request has been on thy list for months and just the thought kills me. I have to get it finished. I'll get started on your commission as soon as it's over.
Spending time to myself is impossible when you have nowhere to go, no means of travel and your parents are with you 24/7... and when I finally DO have time alone (i.e. late at night) I'm usually too busy trying to work but I do have to sleep sometime or another... lately I have just been wanting to play the new games I got, lol. That's why I haven't been too productive.

The only problem with tying flies is most of the starter kits around here are like... $80, but I think I should have most of the tools anyways. I saw some tool starter kits online for about $20 though, but I feel as if I actually need to try fishing with them to get the idea. That's where another problem comes in, the pole, line and all that jazz isn't exactly cheap (and shouldn't be) but I wouldn't have a clue as to what I'm doing, nor would I have an effective place to practice using it or a place to fish with it. I don't know of anyone or any place that teaches or guides.
Sounds like everything I've done my whole life. I've always had to do everything on my own...

Anyways...

I'd stay away from Kanokon, it's not for everyone.. XD

I'll try to relax, but if I'm relaxing I'm not getting anything done..

I'd recommend Cowboy Bebop if you haven't checked it out yet. It's also only 22 episodes (or "sessions") long, although the last one is a two-parter. If I wasn't so crazy about Bleach, it'd definitely be my #1.

Oh, and I might stay away from Kanokon.

I've watched most of it on TV, but I'd still like to get all the DVDs/box set and watch it from front to back. I ordered the movie and can't wait to watch it when it gets here. It's a little disappointing that it's a short series, but the fact that it left me wanting more usually means it's good, lol.
