How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Taking a break

Short journal to say I'm gonna take a break. Between the practice it took for the Coyote pic and what I did this week to prepare to finish my Mom's owl, I need a break. So this following week I'm gonna take a mini vacation and catch up on gaming. A game that I've been waiting for, Sonic 4 Episode 2, is released Tuesday and when it comes out I'm gonna play it constantly and enjoy every minute of it. I also have a stack of games I really wanna play too.

i cant wait to be a useless piece of shit all day and play all these games

After I finish falling down all these stairs, I also have a stack of art & sketches to upload over the course of the week, including a couple for the main gallery. So not all is lost. I don't think a few days away from the paper will hurt me or diminish the improvement I've gotten the past few weeks. But it sure will feel strange, so I doubt I'll be able to keep myself away for long.

Not sure if I'll be able to look at art messages or anything like I had planned, because I need to save bandwidth for the games I'll be downloading. Sorry.
Also sorry if I missed any important journals. If you want me or need anything, say it to me directly. Note me. Comment. Whatever.
Don't "subtweet", "subcomment" or "subjournal" anything. I'll miss it because I've been focused on artwork and improving, and now I'll be focused on my time off.

I had a fun, yet frustrating break. The new Sonic game is kind of hard. XD I'm gonna move to something else now though.

Thanks, so far I've only played Sonic 4.2 with a bit of delay because it took forever for them to put it on PSN, but I'm gonna play something else now because I'm burnt out on it for the moment. XD

I'll probably go back to All Stars Racing and play around online for a little while.

That's for sure. It actually happened to my Mom and brother once I think, before I was born.

I'm naturally a bit paranoid about storms, I used to be a lot worse, but I still turn everything off, including the lights, and just lay on my bed til it's over. :S

My parents keep watching TV and stuff even in the most terrible lightning storms.. we have radios for weather reports, and my phone for that stuff too.
