Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

This'll pop up in your message box automagicly, but I felt like I needed to make a Journal about it.

Today, +deviantart finally allowed the chance to change your username. After lots of careful thinking and consideration, I have changed from ThePurpleWind to GekkouKitsune

I said I was never going to change accounts. Well, my moniker was open. That name is what I identify as. I originally wanted something different so people would not find me, but those days are gone now.
I also feel like my artwork has taken a huge step forward in a new, improved direction, so I can kind of shake off the shell I once was and see where this road takes me.

In a way, I will still always be ThePurpleWind, since that will still redirect me; it's still mine and no one can ever take it (as far as I know).
Since this name was open, I kind of had to take it. You'd be surprised at the amount of people who don't call me ThePurpleWind, instead using Ted or GK (GekkouKitsune).

The name change thing, yeah, it annoys the piss out of me too and I'm gonna have to re-remember who the hell everyone is.
But it's a chance I just had to take, and in 6 months if it doesn't work out, I'll switch back using a variation of the former, or something else.

In other news:

Toonami is coming back on May 26th!

Sonic 4 Episode II is awesome, and very very hard, I don't think I'll be able to get all the trophies for it... I got the majority of them, though. I think I should just play something else now.

I'm gonna try to work my way back into things because staying offline entirely isn't working too well. Sonic 4.2 was only 422 MB anyways so I should be able to make it to the end of the month.

I also couldn't just stop drawing. It's in my blood now. So I have even more stuff to scan and upload now.

But I need to practice humans some more, and Bleach style.

For Toonami, it airs this weekend at the usual adult swim anime time. the lineup is about the same as usual but we got two new shows, Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins.

Supposedly there's more on the way if it's successful enough. We also got TOM back, it's kind of going to be like TOM 3.5.

I was kind of hoping we could also have some of the older shows like Trigun, but baby steps I guess.

awesome feels weird after all this time. But it's nice to look forward to something on the weekends lol nothing special but its cool. And yeah I guess there taking baby steps toonami used to show every day trying to put it into one night and just trying to do all the stuff they used to is a lot, and its been a while since they did everything. just hope they gets some planes for the future.
